Let Go Thommo ($31) gave Steven Ryan his biggest win as a trainer with his first Group I runner when he won the 2007 Goodwood Handicap.
Steve gave away his trade after injuring his back and turned his hand to training racehorses 10 years ago, having spent a lifetime around them. "I grew up in the industry. My father Michael's a trainer and when you grow up with horses they get in your blood," Ryan said.
